Summary of Goku:

Son Goku was born as a low class Saiyan on the Planet Vegeta. His original Saiyan name was Kakarotto, and his father was named Bardack. Kakarotto's power level when he was born was only 2. Due to his weak powerlevel, Kakarotto was sent to Earth, with a mission to destroy all of its inhabitants. Soon after Goku was sent to Earth, Freeza destroyed Planet Vegeta, and most of the Saiyans were killed, included Bardack, who fought back against Freeza until the very end. After arriving on Earth, Kakarotto was found by an elder man named Son Gohan, who used to be a student of Muten Roshi (Master Roshi). Son Gohan named this baby "Son Goku". Being a Saiyan, Goku was a very violent baby, and the old Gohan had a lot of trouble raising Goku. But one day, Gohan accidentally dropped Goku down a ravine. Goku suffered a massive head injury, but miraculously survived. This is when Goku forgot his mission as a Saiyan to destroy Earth, and became a loving Earthling. Later, Goku accidentally sees the full moon and transforms, and kills Son Gohan. From here, Goku lives by himself, until he meets Bulma. Goku always keeps the 4-Star Dragonball with him, believing that it has the soul of his grandpa (Son Gohan) in it. When Goku first meets Bulma, Goku is very very dumb. He doesn't even know what a girl is! Goku continues to be pretty dumb throughout the Dragonball series. When Bulma sees how strong Goku is, Bulma asks him to come with her as a bodyguard, and the Dragonball series starts. After collecting all of the Dragonballs, and defeating Pilaf, and meeting new friends like Yamucha, Oolong, and Pual, Goku goes to Master Roshi's island to become his student. Here, Kulilin makes his first appearance and the 2 become good friends as a student of Master Roshi. After training for a year, Goku and Kulilin enters the 21st Tenka-Ichi Budoukai (World's Strongest Martial Arts Meet) In this tournament, Goku makes it to the finals, but loses to a man named Jackie Chun, who is actually Master Roshi in disguise. After the tournament, Goku goes off on his own to find the Dragonballs once again, especially the 4-Star Dragonball. This time, Goku has to battle the notorious Red Ribbon Army over the Dragonballs. Goku defeats most of the Red Ribbon Army, until he meets Tao-Pai-Pai, the hired killer of the Red Ribbon Army. After being defeated by Tao-Pai-Pai, Goku climbs Karin Tower and meets Karin. After training with Karin, Goku goes back and defeats Tao-Pai-Pai. After that, Goku goes to the Red Ribbon Army base and totally destroys the army. After all this, Goku then travels the world and studies with various Martial Arts masters around the world and he meets everyone again at the 22nd Tenka-Ichi Butoukai. In this tournament, Goku once again makes it to the finals but after an exciting battle, Goku loses to Tenshinhan (Tien). Right after the Tenka-Ichi Butoukai, Kulilin is suddenly killed by a monster who takes Goku's 4-Star Dragonball and leaves behind a sheet of paper with the Chinese letter that says "Ma" on it, which means Devil. Upon seeing this, Master Roshi realizes that Piccolo Daimao has been released from the rice cooker, in which Master Roshi's master had sealed him away in years ago. Master Roshi warns Goku not to chase the killer of Kulilin, but Goku goes anyways, and due to an empty stomach, Goku loses the fight and is knocked out. When Goku wakes up, he finds a huge fish cooking over a fire nearby. He eats the whole thing, and we then first see Yajirobei, whom the fish belonged to. After defeating Piccolo's minions, who came after Yajirobei's Dragonball, Piccolo Daimao himself shows up, and him and Goku fights. Piccolo easily defeats Goku, and upon seeing that Goku's heart had stopped, he leaves. But when Yajirobei comes to check, Goku's heart starts beating again. Goku asks Yajirobei to take him to Karin's place, and Yajirobei does. On top of Karin Tower, Karin gives Goku the Cho-Shinsui, a holy water was is extremely poisonous but if you drink it without dying, it makes you very strong. Goku drinks it, and he doesn't die from it. Having powered up greatly, Goku goes to fight Piccolo Daimao once again, and with the help of Tenshinhan, defeats Piccolo. Before dying though, Piccolo spits out an egg, and from it will hatch the Piccolo that we know today in DBZ. After the defeat of Piccolo, Goku goes to train with Kami and Mr Popo, in preparation of the upcoming fight with the new Piccolo. This is also when Kami took off Goku's tail. 3 years later, Goku reunited with everyone once again at the 23rd Tenka-Ichi Budoukai. Goku is now all grown up. Here, Goku meets Chichi, whom he had met before as a kid. Goku, thinking that a "bride" is some kind of a food, had agreed with Chichi to come get her as a bride when they're older when they were kids. So Goku just marries Chichi on the spot. (lol) Goku once again makes it to the finals, and his opponent this time is Ma Junior, who is the new Piccolo under an alias. After a long battle, Goku defeats Piccolo, but doesn't kill him, since if Piccolo dies, Kami dies. Goku just goes off to live with Chichi, and we pick up again on Goku 5 years later. Goku now has a son named Gohan, and they are at a reunion with Master Roshi, Bulma, and Kulilin at the Kame House. But Goku's evil brother, Raditz shows up. Here is where Goku actually learns that he's an alien. Upon learning that Goku had lost his memory as a Saiyan, Raditz kidnapps Gohan and tells Goku to join them or Gohan dies. Goku teams up with Piccolo to defeat Raditz, and by giving his life, Goku allows Piccolo to defeat Raditz. Raditz dies, but not before telling about the 2 stronger Saiyans who will come to Earth in 1 year. In the afterlife, Goku travels on Snake Way to Kaioh's (King Kai) Planet to train with him in preparation of the upcoming fight with the Saiyans. After training with the Kaioh and attaining the Kaiohken and the Genki Dama (Spirit Bomb), Goku is brought back to life by the DB's and hurries to the battlefield. Goku unfortunately is a little late, and before he gets there, Piccolo, Tenshinhan, Yamucha, and Chaozu had been killed by the Saiyan, Nappa. Goku easily disposes Nappa, who then if promptly killed by Vegeta. Then Goku fights Vegeta. Goku clearly defeats Vegeta, but Vegeta uses the Artificial Full Moon to transform and beat up Goku, but thanks to the help of Gohan, Kulilin, and Yajirobei, they are able to defeat Vegeta and drive him away. From all the injuries that he suffered in this fight, Goku gets stuck in the hospital for a month until Karin can grow a new batch of Senzu beans. And while Goku is hospitalized, Gohan, Bulma, and Kulilin goes to Planet Nameck to get the DB's there to bring Piccolo back to life. After recovering from his injuries, Goku follows suit and heads to Nameck in a space ship built by Dr Briefs, which is equipped with a gravity machine. After training under 100X gravity, Goku becomes extremely strong. After arriving on Nameck, Goku easily defeats the Ginyu Force and saves Gohan, Kulilin, and Vegeta, but his body is badly injured thanks to Captain Ginyu's Body Change move. Goku has to go into the Healing Tank for a bit while the others fight Freeza. After recovering, Goku heads to the battlefield once again. Almost as soon as Goku arrives, Vegeta is killed by Freeza, since he wouldn't shut up about Goku being a Super Saiyan. Goku fights Freeza but nothing, including a 20X Kaiohken Kamehameha seems to work on Freeza. After throwing his last hope, the Super Genki Dama, Goku finds out that even that wasn't enough. Freeza, who was actually hurt by the Genki Dama, in anger kills Kulilin. This pushes Goku over the edge and the anger transforms Goku into a Super Saiyan. After a long battle, Goku defeats Freeza, and escapes from the exploding Planet Nameck in one of the space pods belonging to the Ginyu Force. After leaving Nameck, Goku arrives on Planet Yardratto, where he learns to teleport, and also contracts a viral heart disease. When Goku comes back to Earth, he meets Trunks, the future son of Vegeta and Bulma, who warns him about the upcoming threat of the Artificial Humans and about Goku's heart disease. Trunks gives Goku a medicine to cure the heart disease. Goku then trains with Piccolo and Gohan for the next 3 years in preparation for the Artifical Humans. When the battle with the Artificial Humans start, Goku fights first, against Artificial Human #19. But during the fight, Goku's heart disease finally sets in, and Goku is defeated. Goku is forced to go home and take the medicine and recover, while everyone else fights. After recovering, Goku goes with Gohan to the Room of Spirit and Time at Kami's Temple to train to defeat Cell. After training, Goku and Gohan rest for the 10 days leading up to the Cell Game. Goku also teleports to the new Planet Nameck to get Dende as the new Kami of Earth, so that he can make a new batch of DB's. (When Kami fused w/ Piccolo, the DB's disappeared) At the Cell Game, Goku is the first to fight, and surprisingly, he forfeits the fight midway through the fight. He then appoints Gohan to fight Cell, and Gohan releases his anger and turns into a Super Saiyan 2 and whupps on Cell. But Gohan's unwillingness to finish off Cell quick allows Cell to self-destruct, in an attempt to take Earth with him. To prevent this, Goku teleports with Cell to Kaioh's planet, where Cell blows up and Goku and Kaioh dies. For the next 7 years, Goku trains on Dai-Kaioh's planet with the Kaioh and makes it to Super Saiyan 2 and eventually Super Saiyan 3. And after 7 years, at the next Tenka-Ichi Budoukai, Goku is allowed to come back to the living world for 24 hours. But all is spoiled when they meet the Kaiohshin and he reveals to them the plan that the evil sorceror Babidi has to reincarnate Majin-Buu. Goku agrees to help Kaiohshin, and so does Vegeta, although Vegeta wanted to fight Goku. But while attempting to stop Babidi, Vegeta falls under Babidi's spell on purpose and becomes pure evil again, and Goku is forced to fight Vegeta. The energy from their fight reincarnates Majin-Buu. Vegeta knocks out Goku and goes off to fight Buu by himself, and dies. Goku then decides to teach Goten and Trunks the fusion technique so that they can fuse and defeat Buu. But to stop Buu from destroying the Western Capital, so that Trunks can go and retrieve the Dragon Radar from Capsule Corp, Goku is forced to fight Buu. This is where Goku goes Super Saiyan 3 for the first time. Goku fights Buu for a while until Trunks manages to get the Radar and start back to Kami's Temple. Then Goku teleports back to Kami's Temple. Unfortunately, the side effect of SSJ3 is that it uses too much energy, and Goku is forced to go back to the afterlife a bit sooner than expected. After returning to the afterlife, Goku teleports to Kaiohshin's world and watches as Gohan is powered up by the Dai-Kaiohshin. But after seeing Buu absorb Gotenks and Buu whupping on Gohan, the Dai-Kaiohshin gives Goku his life and a set of the Potara Earrings to fuse with Gohan so that Goku can go and beat Buu. But when Goku gets back to the living world and tries to fuse with Gohan, Gohan dropps the Potara and then Buu manages to absorb Gohan. As Goku was dreading the thought of having to fuse with Mr Satan, he senses Vegeta's ki and teleports to him, where they fuse and become Vegetto. Vegetto puts the smack down on Buu, and after going inside Buu's body (where they unfused for some reason), they succeeded in rescueing Goten, Trunks, Piccolo, and Gohan who had been absorbed by Buu. But in doing so, they caused Buu to revert to his original self, which was 100% evil destruction monster. When Buu blows up Earth, Goku is able to only teleport with him Vegeta, Dende, and Mr Satan to Kaiohshin's world. Buu soon follows after them to Kaioshin's world, where the fight between Goku and Buu starts. Finally, in the end, with the help of Vegeta, Mr Satan, and the nice Fat Buu, Goku is able to kill evil Buu with a Full Power Super Genki Dama, and he saves the world once again. At the end of Dragonball, we see Goku go off with Uub, the good reincarnation of Buu, to train with him. And there's a lot to say about Goku in Dragonball GT, but I think this is enough!
